Direct answer
Renew a Billixi membership only from the signed link in the buyer library. A renewal extends the existing membership period; it does not create a second membership. At expiry, Billixi records the economic expiry and queues the exact Telegram or Discord access removal. If a provider connection is unhealthy, checkout pauses until the seller repairs it.
A membership has three related but separate states: payment, economic entitlement, and access in Telegram or Discord. Keeping these states separate prevents a provider outage from changing whether a buyer paid and lets Billixi retry access safely.
This article covers the lifecycle after purchase. For positioning, platform choice, public offer design, USDT pricing, and launch, start with how to sell paid Telegram or Discord memberships and the Billixi membership solution.
Renew from the buyer library
Use the renewal action attached to the membership in the buyer library. That link is signed for the authenticated buyer, the exact subscription, and a limited time window.
Do not start a second purchase from the public product page. A public checkout is not proof that the buyer is authorized to extend an existing subscription.
During renewal:
- The buyer selects one of the seller's currently active plans.
- Billixi verifies the signed renewal proof.
- The selected plan freezes the renewal price and duration for that cycle.
- A successful payment extends the existing period from the later of the current expiry or the payment time.
- The Telegram destination or Discord role remains tied to the same membership.
A lifetime membership cannot be renewed. If auto-renew from credits is available, the buyer library shows the expected amount and next charge time before it is enabled.
What happens at expiry
When the membership period ends, Billixi marks the economic entitlement expired and queues removal of the exact access Billixi manages.
- For Telegram, Billixi removes managed membership access from the verified destination.
- For Discord, Billixi removes the managed membership role from the bound Discord identity.
- If another surviving membership still grants the same exact resource, access is preserved.
- Access that Billixi cannot prove it granted is not removed blindly; it is sent for review.
Provider removal can finish shortly after the economic expiry. The buyer library shows revocation as pending until the provider confirms the result.
When a connection is unhealthy
Billixi checks the seller's verified Telegram or Discord connection before accepting a new membership payment or renewal. If required permissions, bot membership, or role hierarchy are unhealthy, the product detail remains visible but checkout is temporarily disabled.
This protects buyers from paying while access cannot be delivered. Sellers should repair the existing verified connection instead of creating a replacement product or asking buyers to pay again.
For Discord ownership setup, complete the one-time administrator OAuth proof, return to the product wizard, and select Check connection. Rechecking a verified server and role refreshes health without discarding the existing ownership proof.
Recover access safely
If a paid membership says access is pending:
- Check whether the buyer still needs to connect Telegram or Discord.
- Check the separate integration-health and access-delivery states.
- Repair the verified seller connection if it is unhealthy.
- Allow Billixi's durable retry to continue.
- Contact Billixi support if the state requires review.
Do not create another payment, reconnect an already-bound account, manually grant a different role, or share a permanent invite. Those actions make the economic record and provider state disagree.
Seller release checklist
Before publishing a membership:
- Verify the exact production Telegram destination or Discord server and role.
- Complete the private ownership proof.
- Confirm the bot has only the permissions it needs.
- Test initial purchase, account connection, renewal, expiry, and removal.
- Test temporary provider failure and recovery.
- Confirm the buyer library displays the exact expiry time and timezone.
- Confirm report rows distinguish pending, retry, reconciliation, unhealthy, and notification failures.
