Cookie Policy

Last updated 2026-06-11

This Cookie Policy explains how Billixi ("we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on billixi.com and related subdomains (such as app.billixi.com).

Essential cookies are required to sign in, complete checkout, and keep your session secure. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the core marketplace.

For how we process personal data, see our Privacy Policy at /privacy.

1 What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies include local storage keys used for UI preferences (such as theme or language).

Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close the browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them).

2 Essential Cookies We Use

These cookies are strictly necessary to operate Billixi. Without them, authentication and checkout cannot work.

  • ory_kratos_session — maintains your identity session via Ory Kratos.
  • hydra_access_token and hydra_refresh_token — HttpOnly cookies used to call Billixi APIs securely (not accessible to JavaScript).
  • oauth2_state and oauth2_code_verifier — short-lived cookies during OAuth2 login with Ory Hydra.
  • google_oauth_return_to — short-lived cookie during Google sign-in redirect.
  • billixi_affiliate_ref_* — optional attribution cookie when you arrive via a promoter link (see Terms at /terms).

3 Functional Preferences

We may store non-essential preferences in your browser to improve your experience, such as selected language, theme (light/dark), or dismissed UI hints.

These preferences are not shared with advertisers and are not used to track you across unrelated websites.

4 Analytics

Billixi may use first-party analytics to understand marketplace usage (for example, which pages load or which checkout steps fail).

We do not sell cookie data to data brokers. Aggregated analytics help us improve performance and detect abuse.

5 Third-Party Services

When you choose "Continue with Google", Google may set cookies under google.com policies during the sign-in flow.

On-chain payments involve your own wallet software and blockchain networks — Billixi does not control wallet cookies.

6 Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in or completing purchases.

To clear Billixi session cookies, sign out and remove site data for billixi.com in your browser, or contact us via /support if you need help.

7 Changes

We may update this Cookie Policy when our authentication stack or analytics practices change. The "Last updated" date shows the current version.
